Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use Cadenzify’s web apps (the “Cadenzify Apps”), which you can use to create music and video projects. This Privacy Policy outlines the ways in which we store, use, transfer, and delete the information we collect about you when you download and use the Cadenzify Apps, as well as when you use our website or other sites or services (collectively, the “Services”).

How we use the information collected

The information we collect at Cadenzify is used to enable the Services to work as well as possible. When you use the Cadenzify Apps, we collect information from you, including Personally Identifiable Information (PII) that can, alone or in combination, be used to identify you. We maintain the information we collect about you for up to three years after your last interaction with the Services.

In order to give you the best possible experience using the Services, we collect information from your interactions with the Services. Some of this information, such as your phone number, email address you actively give us. We may also ask for permission to access your device’s location services, in order to verify your jurisdiction before allowing you to use our Apps. Other information, such as the pages that you access within the Cadenzify Apps, we automatically collect based on actions you take while using the Services. This information includes records of your interactions, your Internet Protocol address, your WiFi ID, information about your device (such as device or operating system), and referral information.

We use this information to:

(i) Provide, test, improve, promote and personalize the Services;

(ii) Communicate with you, in order to tell you about the Services, as well as to provide offers we believe will be of interest to you, including text messages relating to your use of the Services;

(iii) Fight spam and other forms of abuse, and enforce restrictions against users who have acted maliciously or violated our Terms of Service; and

(iv) Generate aggregate, non-identifying information about how people use the Services, for both our own internal analytics purposes as well as for the use and benefit of our partners, affiliates, agents, advertisers, sponsors, and other third parties.

Information Disclosure

Cadenzify won’t sell or transfer Personally Identifiable Information about you to third parties for the purpose of providing or facilitating third-party advertising to you. Cadenzify provides advertisers only with general, aggregated, anonymized data on its user base as a whole. Cadenzify does not provide advertisers with any specific data regarding you or any other specific users. Advertisers and sponsors can advertise to Cadenzify’s entire active user base, but cannot target any particular users based on their personal information.

We may share your specific account information with third parties in some circumstances, including:

(i) with your consent;

(ii) to a service provider or partner who meets our data protection standards, who provides a function on our behalf (such as hosting, database maintenance, content delivery, email and notification messaging, advertising management and delivery, or payment processing);

(iii) with academic or non-profit researchers, with aggregation, anonymization, or pseudonymization;

(iv) when we have a good faith belief it is required by law, such as pursuant to a subpoena or other legal process; or

(v) when we have a good faith belief that doing so will help prevent imminent harm to someone.

If we are going to share your information in response to legal process, we’ll give you notice so you can challenge it (for example by seeking court intervention), unless we’re prohibited by law or believe doing so may endanger others. We will object to all requests for information about users of the Services that we believe are improper.

Cadenzify may share specific information that we collect with the public at large, such as the username that you create and any profile picture or avatar that you upload or create along with your account. This information will be visible to other users, as well as to other individuals not using the Cadenzify Apps.

Data Storage

Cadenzify uses third-party vendors and hosting partners, such as Azure, for hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology we need to run the Services. By using the Services, you authorize Cadenzify to transfer, store, and use your information in the United States, and in any other country where we operate.

Tracking & Cookies

Cadenzify’s website and other Services may use browser cookies and similar technologies to recognize you when you return to the Services. We use them in various ways, for example to remember your preferences (such as default language), evaluate email effectiveness, and personalize content and other information. Cadenzify doesn’t track you across the Internet; we track only your interactions within the Cadenzify Network (which encompasses all of the Services). Some third-party services that we use to provide the Cadenzify Service, such as Google Analytics and Unity Analytics, may place their own cookies in your browser. This Privacy Policy covers use of cookies by Cadenzify only and not the use of cookies by third parties.

Changes to your Account

To modify the information associated with your account, please do so within the same app that you originally used to create your account. If you ever decide to delete your Cadenzify account altogether, you may do so by contacting us at Once you terminate your account, your profile and the information associated with it will be deleted from our servers. To protect information from accidental or malicious destruction, we may maintain residual copies for a brief time period. But, if you delete your account, your information and content will be unrecoverable after that time. Cadenzify may preserve and maintain copies of your information when required to do so by law. Furthermore, copies of deleted information may remain viewable elsewhere where it has already been shared with others, or where it was copied or stored by other users or other third parties, or where it was included in aggregated datasets for analysis.

Data Security

We use standard encryption protocols to protect data transmitted to and from the Services. However, no data transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, so we can’t guarantee security. You use the Services at your own risk, and you’re responsible for taking reasonable measures to secure your account. In order to improve your account security, do not log in to your Cadenzify account on any device that you do not own.

Business Transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, reorganization or sale of assets such that your information would be transferred or become subject to a different privacy policy, we’ll notify you in advance so you can opt out of any such new policy by deleting your account before transfer.

Emails and text messages from Cadenzify

Sometimes, Cadenzify will send you emails, text messages or push notifications about your account, service changes, or new policies. You can’t opt out of this type of “transactional” communication without deleting your account entirely. However, you can opt-out of all non-administrative communications (such as digests, newsletters, and activity notifications). Note that when you interact with an email or text message we send you, such as opening an email or clicking on a particular link in a message, we may receive information about that interaction.

If you wish to permanently stop receiving all emails or push notifications from us, you will need to delete your account and all associated information, because we cannot provide the Services to you without email communications enabled.

Children’s Privacy

The Cadenzify App cannot be used by children under 13 years of age. Cadenzify does not knowingly collect, maintain, or use any information from children under 13 years of age, and will take measures to promptly delete such information if we learn that we have inadvertently collected it. If you believe that a child under the age of 13 has created an account or provided any information to us through the Services, please contact us at
